There's something about this little joint. Perhaps it's the owner who always calls me "baby" or the fact that they aren't pushy to upgrade you. This little hole in the wall gets the job done for little $$. Where in town are you going to get a shellac or gel manicure for $25? Most places charge at least $40. My only beef with this place it that up to three different people will do your service. Sometimes the owner will start my service and then another girl will take over because she needs to answer the phone (understandable). It's just a little confusing because I like to tip cash and I end up conflicted on how to split the tip.
I ADORE this nail salon. All the ladies here know exactly what they are doing! They are beyond friendly & hospitable, speedy, and have the best prices $ My gel mani always lasts at least 2-3 weeks, and they never charge to remove the old polish like some places do. I've been coming here for almost a year and they have yet to disappoint!
I love this place! This is my third time coming here and this time I got SNS nails along with a basic pedicure and I'm super haply with the result. They are friendly, offer you something to drink, and complete each set in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable so I'll defintiely be back.
I stand by the fact that anytime I come to a business 20 times or more and willingly give them my money for their services, then I consider them 5 stars. The ladies at Living Colors Nails are all great! I am always satisfied and happy after leaving. Their prices are on par and just right in my opinion. I love their attention to detail! Nothing irritates me more than when the details are ignored on my manicure or pedicure.
Sometimes it can be busy here. I usually walk in, but have made an appointment before as well. I think they are worth the wait even when it is busy. They do pretty much anything as far as nails plus other services as well. I'm always pedicure and sometimes a manicure when I feel like treating myself. If you are looking for a good, reliable and consistent nail spot then I definitely recommend this place.
New to Austin and this is the first place I tried based on reviews. I had one lady do my pedicure and almost all of the manicure. Then a manager or someone who double-checks the work of the employees finished the last topcoat and a third lady then washed my hands and massage them. The service was great and they did a wonderful job! I wish I knew the women's name that worked on me because she was very polite. $25 for a basic pedi and $23 for the gel mani. They made all my fingers rounded perfect and look the same, believe me they are all different shapes and sizes so this is like magic to me! Even better yet, no pain! And I have not been in to get this done in a few months so they were not in great shape lol
I am in love with this location. I don't get many manicures or pedicures, but they do a fantastic job!
$15 manicure (I should have called ahead and confirmed pricing, based on previous Yelp review I thought it'd be $12, but that's my fault I didn't check). Overall a good manicure, I was happy with it. There were a few uneven spots I noticed and could have been a result of her adding some liquid to the nail polish (I guess to make it runnier/more liquidy). Nice little massage. Didn't have a strong odor. They have about 6 pedicure chairs. The place looked clean. Just a tad overpriced for a manicure.
Courteous, professional, and take their time. They obviously take pride in what they do. I will be back!
I gave this place a try today based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. The place seems a little sketch when you pull up, but it's decent on the inside and has a large selection of colors to choose from. The gel manicure was awesome - probably one of the best I've ever gotten! The nail tech really took her time and my nails look fabulous. The pedicure was great too. I had a different technician do my pedi - the cleaning, callus removal, and message was much needed. I had a good experience and will definitely be returning.
Daughter and I just had mani-pedi for our birthdays (ours are 4 days apart). Wonderful service, friendly, so helpful, and the ladies are wonderful as always! Best massage chairs in town, too. AAA+++
Might not be the biggest or classiest place in the world but the staff is super nice, and that was the cheapest, best manicure I've gotten in a while. No qualms here!
Decent prices. Staff is friendly. They take time and do their work with care.
I've been going here for years, since before the change, and I must say it's much better than other places around Austin. The ladies are quick and friendly, and even help when I bring my baby with me. They have so many colors to choose from, and they have COLOR CHANGING gel polish! I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks and i will only go here.
BEST massage chair of my life. Worth a pedicure for the chairs alone. It does things I didn't even know a chair could do. The prices are average, as is the pedicure. So no bonus there. My friend waited almost an hour for hers which was a bummer. Ask for wine to pass the time.
This is my nail spot!!!!! I love this place so much!! My nails always look on point and the service there is amazing!!!! My sister, Mom, & I just love it!!! I'm planning on going back asap!!!
Love this nail salon so relaxing and good conversation good place to relax and vent your stress. Love Chi she is the best ????
Awesome place and very sweet people! I highly recommend getting a pedicure and manicure here.
Just found my nail salon!!
I've been looking for a new nail salon to visit regularly since the one I used to go customer service started dropping big time.
I am SO glad I have this place a try! Prices are reasonable and service was great! More than anything everyone was SO friendly! I definitely felt welcomed and not rushed.
This will be my go to place from now on, I definitely recommend it!

My only small complaint is that the paint job isn't great - polish on my skin, gaps, etc. However, I still had a good experience and will definitely be returning.
Ask for Tom! Great service :-)

I am not the type of person to get pedicures or really pamper myself but I had time to kill before a pool party and stopped in. I got the deluxe and I have to say it was quite nice. The massage chair, leg mask and massage. I don't know if it's the same everywhere but for a nice pedicure and full service it was nice. It's a small place but everyone is friendly and being a guy they let me put sports on the tv. No complaints here I'll most likely come back when I need my feet looking nice again.
Finally found a nail salon I can consistently come to and leave with a smile every time! Gentle, precise and great time! Never any crooked nails or cuts plus you get complimentary wine!
Wow, I'm impressed. As a lady that gets her nails done every other week pedi once per month, this place has the best service! Bar none! I came in right at closing and I said can you do a mani and a pedi plus my husband?? Sure no problem she said!!? What?!? Who does that, I know I'm a bad person for doing that but I needed it! They were all so sweet, attentive and I will be back and I will refer my girlfriends.
Awesome! No better nail salon in Austin! I get shellac fill and I can complicated in what I want. They always know what I want and do a great job!
I'm pleased with the service here, glad I went. Clean place, complimentary drinks, friendly customer service. My nails came out really well. I would come back, however I was thrown off because they showed me a "menu" of services and the one I picked was a mani/pedi combo for $35 but when I went to pay I was charged $55. I didn't argue because I would say it was worth the money, but I'm not sure what I missed.
I had LuAnna. She was very sweet did a very nice job on my pedicure. My manicure was just average and there wasn't really a good hand massage. This place is very clean they serve refreshments including wine. I will be coming back. The reason it's not a five-star, because it wasn't an amazing experience for the price I paid.
Great experience this last Sunday. Very clean, and everyone was great! Highly recommend this place. Deluxe Pedicure was $35 and Men's Manicure was $12. So worth it. Will be going back soon!
They did a wonderful job on my mani and pedi. Love the color selection too! Leg massage felt good, not too rough and painful like some other salons. I will definitely be back to get repeat services here and bonus they are next too my vape shop! Thanks again:)
My nail technician took her time and was very friendly. She was meticulous and did great work, got myself a mani and pedi and was very pleased. Highly recommend. :)
Loved all the mani and pedi's I have gotten here! INCREDIBLE NAIL ART SELECTION TOO! This is my new "go to" spot!
Stopped by here because its in my neighborhood and they are open on Sunday! Very clean and they do a great job! I was very please with my pedi, thanks!
Wow they really stepped it up here! I used to come in here when I lived close and I loved the ladies here. I moved away about 3 months ago but came in here the other day to get waxed and they remodeled since I was in here last. Not only did they remodel I believe they got new chairs! These chairs are amZing, never had one so good in a nail salon. Also, they gave me a free bottle of water! Maybe it's because I upgraded to the $28 but that's a plus. :-) these ladies are great and this massage chair is on point!! Happy customer here! Worth the extra drive.
Great place and nice staff! I like their chairs. They do good nail art. They don't have the best polish colors and brands to choose from, but I bring my own.
Stopped here because I was on a time crunch and the location is close to my house. Now I wanna stay as long as I can! This nail shop is clean and the pedi chairs are incredible! The Delix pedicure is the way to go! $35 gets you parafin wax with mask and hot towels plus a wonderful leg massage! May have just found my new spot!
I was in need of a little pampering and came here on a Thursday afternoon so it obviously wasn't crowded (great for me since I'm expecting and the least nail polish gases I breath, the better). I was serviced right away. They did a good job and were friendly. Will be returning.
Tom is amazing!! Love my nails! 17 years experience he rocks any style!! Best in Austin!Bomb nails
I went to a previous salon and my nails were awful. Came here the following day and they did a flawless job. I will never go anywhere else now, beyond satisfied with this salon!
I stopped in here yesterday to get a manicure and pedicure because my friend, Tiffany S, talked highly of the place. Finding the spot was a little confusing at first because I was looking for the old name - Pros 2 Nails. They changed their name a while back to Living Colors Nails, but are still in the same spot, same employees, but just different ownership. They are located right next door to pizza hut in the shopping center at William Cannon and Manchaca.
Living Colors Nails is not a fancy place to be honest, but when I am looking for a good nail salon I want a few things .... cleanliness, attention to detail and quality in their work. The 3 ladies working in here yesterday had all those things. I got a pedicure and manicure. The lady working on my pedicure was gentle, but steady at cleaning my feet and and making them look beautiful. The young woman working on my manicure probably had the best hand and arm massage I have ever had! I am particular about making sure they get the polish all the way on the sides of the nails as this is probably my biggest pet peeve and she did it perfectly.
The shop is in an older building, but the chairs and tables are updated and nice. They offered me a drink and did everything to make me comfortable. They have tons of cool trendy color options to choose from.
The prices here are probably the cheapest I have seen in Austin. If you are looking for a great manicure or pedicure I would check out Living Colors Nails if you don't want to spend an arm and a leg!
The staff was busy but always incredibly pleasant. I have just moved to this part of town, so I was looking for a nail place close by that would be able to do a good job. Despite here being a little bit of a scatter to get me in the right place, she did a really great job with my nails. The only thing I have to knock it down to 4 stars is there was a strange (non nail salon related) smell in the place that was unsettling.
I called to see if they had any walk-in appointments available for the day (Monday) and was told I could come in! I went in to get SNS for the first time and got a white French tip with gel! The whole experience was great and they were all very nice!
This used to be a dumpy little place with the cheapest pedicures in town. But there was a giant catfish and a television playing shows in Vietnamese with no subtitles. Then, in 2015, Living Nails moved in and revamped the place.
The prices went up, but so did the quality of the staff and the interior. And the massage chairs are large and luxurious--Cadillac version of what was there before.
Wine and water is available upon request.
In 2015, I've had two pedicures and one manicure that I got when I had an emergency nail break trying to open a Tupperware container.
Best of all, there's no line!
So lovely and under new management since I first discovered the best massage chairs in town on Easter Sunday (see my review for Pro 2 Nail for that day!)
Once again treated to the Queen treatment with the fabulous massage chair and more foot and calf massage than anywhere else I have been! The attention to detail shows in everything they do :) Christy was super welcoming. The new manager was friendly but not overly so. Make sure you upgrade the pedicure to include the gel massage! The invigorating leg gel is wonderfully tingly and fabulous! They were just installing 2 new huge TVs and everyone was just as sweet as can be! 5 stars for price, experience, and service.
Phenomenal service. When I come here I always ask for Tom. He is very patient thorough and educate you nail upkeep. The other girls are great too. I go to them as well. My 8 year old had lost her entire nail bed and I had them put tips on her and her nails grew & healed fast. Highly highly highly recommend. This establishment may be small, but don't let that fool you. They know their craft. I also bring my teen here to get her nails done. She loves this place. Of course the wine & champagne they offer doesn't hurt. Neither does the massage chair :).They also have non alcoholic beverages as well.
Over all, I don't think you will regret the experience...
Hidden gem! Great pedicure and manicure every time :-) professional staff and usually quick!
